February 22, 2013
The Yaris is also known as Vitz or Echo in other markets. The third-generation of Toyota Yaris is bigger, more advanced and more economical than its predecessor. The introductory prices are greater than some budget competitors like the Kia Rio and Skoda Fabia, but it’s much more exciting to drive. The engine for Yaris delivers 108hp and 103lb-ft of torque. This top model is powered by 1NZ-FE, twin-cam 16-valve, l-4 engine that is mated with two options either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic which returns a combined fuel economy of 30mpg in city and 35mpg on the motorway. The new Yaris has a curb weight of 2315lbs. The Yaris engine sprints from 0-60 mph in just 10seconds. Toyota Yaris has an improved ride and handling. The 4-door saloon body and eye-catching style has better fuel consumption and stands out from the crowd.
