Toyota Reveals 202mpg ECO Car! It a Prius

All new Toyota Prius plug-in hybrid can do more than 200 miles from a gallon of fuel revealed at New York Auto Show

All new Prius plug-in hybrid has arrived at New York Motor Show and revealed that it can do more than 200 miles from a gallon of fuel while it emits only 32g/km of carbon emissions. It has also been arrived in the UK. It is known as the Prius Prime in the U.S. it has different styling than the standard Prius. Sales of this elegant eco-friendly version will start in the UK at the end of this year.

Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid powertrains

The fourth generation of the plugin hybrid Prius will sit alongside the regular Prius and will use the same 1.8-litre petrol engine. The electric powertrain will get power from an 8.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack and a dual motor inserted in the axles.

Fuel economy stats

The all new Toyota Prius engine will offer a fuel economy of around 202 miles per gallon and will become more than 110 miles per gallon more fuel economical from its standard version. It has a claimed carbon emissions of just 32g/km to wear the crown of being a Euro06 complaint model in the UK. When we compare it with the standard Prius in the market, it is simply 40 g/km more cleanly than the old Prius.it is even cleaner than the Volkswagen Golf GTE by 8g/km.

Pure electric mileage

Toyota claims that its fourth-generation Toyota Prius engine will be able to do more than 88 miles on all-electric mode while on EV range of 30 miles of previous version of the Prius.

Full Battery Charging time

All new Prius plug-in hybrid has a charging time of only two hours and 20 minutes with a standard Toyota charging pack but it can vary from charger to charger however, it will be open for sale at the end of this year in the UK. Prices are expected to be started from around £30,000 in the UK.
