Toyota 4Runner Diesel Engine Comes with KDSS
January 7, 2013
Back in 1984, Japanese auto maker Toyota introduced a new breed of SUV as Toyota 4Runner. First 4Runner was more like a compact SUV with a fibreglass bodyshell over Toyota pickup chassis; it had an alias of Toyota Hilux Surf. Brilliantly used engines for Toyota 4Runner made it a big hit instantly. Ever since its introduction, 4Runner went through a lot of changes, finally in 2009 its fifth generation was made public at Texas State Fair. Three trim levels with powerful engines for Toyota 4Runner are available. The base trm SR5 is available as 2WD and the Limited trim is as 4WD. There are 2 trims, the SR5 and the Tail Edition 4WD – are featuring part-time 4WD whereas the Limited Edition comes with full-time 4WD drive system. A 4.0-litre V6 Dual VVT-i Toyota 4Runner engine for sale is available as standard. The 2WD models were equipped with 2.7-litre engine for Toyota 4Runner but then after 2010, it was discontinued. A new suspension system is introduced by Toyota which is named Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System or (KDSS) and a Crawl control along with locking differential for outclass off-road experience.
